Volunteering with CMH

CMH runs on the power and dedication of volunteers! No club can be successful without volunteers whose generosity in donating their time and skills is nothing short of amazing.  Help make a difference in the lives of CMH players in your community.

CMH Board of Directors

Our CMH Board is made up of a special group of volunteers who are interested in being involved in the day to day running and decision making for CMH. The CMH Board of Directors will have regular and special meetings throughout the year. 

These positions are not open to our coaches, referees, or anyone who has a family member playing for CMH. It is imperative our Board of Directors makes decisions for the overall benefit of every player and family and there are no personal motives behind our decisions.

Director of Coaching

The CMH Director of Coaching will be responsible for the recruitment and training of coaches for our programs in line with CMH's Best Practices. The Director of Coaching will not be assigned a team / program to coach. This is solely an administrative position.

Coach (es)

Our coaches are responsible for instructing players in the foundations of soccer while developing their technical skills and providing an understanding of team strategy and tactics under the direction of the Director of Coaching. Our coaches at CMH are expected to be positive, encouraging, and team oriented as they will work closely with Team Administrators to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Team Administrator (s)

Our team managers will be responsible for the day to day running of assigned team (s) / program (s). Team managers will handle team communication, game day duties, and registering for tournaments and will serve as the liason between the Coach and the players.

Referee (s)

Our referees are responsible for being the official in charge at our games and events. The authority of a referee extends to everyone on the field, including players, team officials, and spectators. CMH referees are expected to be fair to both home and away teams and to keep the game safe and fun.

Concessions

Our concessions workers will volunteer a portion of their time during home games and events to running the concession stand.
