CMH Soccer
Academy Program
OVERVIEW
Our Academy Program offers a step up from the developmental program. This is for players looking for a more competitive program while still playing in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
The Academy Program is open to players 7-9 (8U-10U). While a player does not have to be skilled to be in this program, it will be a more advanced training environment. This program is designed to advance a players soccer knowledge by building on their technical training and implementing a foundation of tactical knowledge.
This program is coached by certified coaches with advanced soccer knowledge.

Children will be grouped into appropriate teams. We will allow playing up an age group where it will benefit a player but will not allow it where it would be detrimental to the player's growth and development. Playing up is made on a case by case basis.
-
All practices will be communicated through CMH approved app.
-
Teams will practice two days a week and will play friendlies against other clubs. Schedules will be set as early into the season as possible but games may be added as the season progresses.
-
All games will be scheduled by CMH Staff and players/parents should expect to be available on both Saturdays and Sundays for games though CMH will do our best to focus our friendly play on Saturday as often as we can.
-
Summer/Fall season will run from June -November. Spring season will run February - May.
-
Each season players will attend a minimum of 2 tournaments.
PLAYER / PARENT EXPECTATIONS
-
Training is not mandatory but regular attendance at practice and participation in games is expected. Players will not grow and develop without commitment.
-
Equal playing time is not guaranteed. Attempts will be made to allow all players field time but routine absence from training will result in less time on the field.
-
Players and parents are required to maintain positive attitudes about CMH teammates, opposing players, and coaches. CMH has a strict policy against negativity and we believe in maintaining positive attitudes both on and off the field. Any comments directed to a referee by a parent or player can result in a player being dismissed from a CMH program.
